We're going to place 12 real life convicted felons on a deserted tropical island and have them compete for one million dollars [ U.S.]

Why is Danger Island cloaked in such unprecedented secrecy and security

The extraordinary security and secrecy surrounding this project are necessary due to the nature of the contestants as well as the uniqueness of this television show

Do the felons get the prize money

No. The prize money is given to the victim of their last crime

What do the felons receive

The children of the winning felonious cast member will receive an educational scholarship of $50,000 designed to help break the cycle of crime and provide them with options their parent may not have had. They also receive a very unique opportunity to gain some measure of redemption.

What kind of contest will the felons have to compete in

The contests will involve very intense physical and psychological challenges designed to pit some of the most diabolical criminal minds in the world against the best trained Manhunters on earth. Not only will the felons be competing with each other to win each contest but they'll also have to do so before they are tracked down by the Manhunters.

What will the format of "Danger Island" be like

"Danger Island" will be a weekly one hour reality television show. It will not be a low brow descent into schlock television nor will it be a primitive display of good versus evil. Instead, it will be an incredible mythological display of men competing for the exceedingly rare opportunity to compensate victims for past crimes committed against them.

Isn't Danger Island glamorizing criminals by putting them on television

Not at all. Everybody who appears on Danger Island has already completed serving their sentence and is only appearing on the show because they want to make up for what they've done in the past. Winning a million dollars for the victim of your last crime doesn't excuse what you did to them but it will certainly help rebuild the victim's life. Winning an educational scholarship for your child will at the very least give them an opportunity that perhaps their parent didn't have.

Are there any types of criminals that will not be allowed to participate in "Danger Island"

Yes. Anyone convicted of murder, rape, or child molestation will not be allowed to participate

Who can apply to be a cast member on Danger Island

To apply to be a cast member on Danger Island you must:

Be at least 21 years of age

Speak English

Be a convicted felon who has completed serving his sentence and no longer be on parole

You must not have any wants, warrants or criminal charges pending against you

You must agree to a full background check

You must have at least one child

You must be free of all alcohol and substance abuse problems and agree to random testing by us

You must be prepared to submit a three minute VHS audition video of yourself

You must be in excellent mental and physical health

You must never have been convicted of murder, rape, or child molestation

You must agree to be interviewed by the media if called upon to do so

You must be able to take 45 days off from work

If called upon to do so you must be willing to travel at your own expense to be interviewed by the Producers at one of the following locations: New York, Boston, Miami, Detroit, Chicago, Las Vegas, Dallas, Los Angeles, Moscow, Berlin, Rome, Paris, London, Toronto or Mexico City

Contestants who are chosen as finalists must also be able to meet with the Producers for one week prior to production. Round trip economy air travel and lodging to be paid by the Producers.

What can you tell me about the professional Manhunters being flown in from all over the world to track the criminal contestants while they compete in contests

The Manhunters / bounty hunters will be some of the most skilled in the world. Among them will be members of the United States Delta Force, former Green Berets, professional sport hunters from South Africa, professional bounty hunters from New York and Los Angeles as well as members of law enforcement

Will the Manhunters be compensated

Yes. In addition to being made famous worldwide, the Manhunters will also receive compensation.

What are the qualifications one needs to be cast as a Manhunter on "Danger Island"

To be cast as a ManHunter on "Danger Island" you must:

Be at least 21 years of age

Have no criminal record

You must be in excellent mental and physical health

You must have verifiable experience and credentials in either law enforcement, bounty hunting, sport hunting or in the military

You must be willing to submit a 3 minute VHS audition tape when requested

You must agree to be interviewed by the media if called upon to do so

You must be willing to travel outside of the United States

You must be able to take 45 days off from work [which you will be compensated for]

If you are a U.S. resident you should be able to obtain a passport.

If called upon to do so you must be willing to travel at your own expense to be interviewed by the Producers at one of the following locations: New York, Boston, Miami, Detroit, Chicago, Las Vegas, Dallas, Los Angeles, Moscow, Berlin, Rome, Paris, London, Toronto or Mexico City

Where will "Danger Island" be filmed

While the exact location of "Danger Island" must remain confidential applicants should be prepared for a 45 day off shore shooting schedule

Will contestants be allowed to communicate with family while on "Danger Island"

No communication will be allowed while the show is filming unless the most extraordinary emergency presents itself
